A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Bhutan Chamber of Commerce & Industry and WTC Mumbai on 13th October 2014. The MoU will strengthen the co-operation between the two organizations in exchange of trade and investment related information, exchange of publications and information of bilateral trade, foreign trade and investment policies, exchange of trade enquiries and business proposals for joint ventures, exchange of trade delegations, assist each other in organizing or participating international fairs, exhibitions and trade promotion events.

This MoU is important as India and Bhutan are moving forward for a closer relationship after the recent meeting with heads of the two countries. Bhutan seeks investments from India in different sectors such as infrastructure, power, education, healthcare, IT and financial services to further enhance economic ties between the two countries.

Mr.Kamal Morarka, Chairman, WTC Mumbai signed the above MoU with Mr. Richen Chen Dorji, Vice President, Bhutan Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
