The first edition of the two-day SOBO FEST, organised jointly by a group of Area Locality Management Associations (ALMs) and MVIRDC World Trade Centre Mumbai, will kickstart on January 26, 2019 at World Trade Centre Mumbai.

The group of ALMs includes Cuffe Parade Resident’s Association, Association of Colaba & Cuffe Parade Residents, My Dream Colaba, Clean Mumbai Foundation and Nariman Point Association.

The event aims to promote women’s empowerment, revival of traditional culture, impart livelihood skills among underprivileged children and create awareness on cleanliness.

The two-day event will feature spectacular cultural performance by veteran artists such as Mr. Piyush Rajani, Ms. Anushka Jag, Ms. Sunita Bhuyan, Ms. Sharon Prabhakar, among others. The event, which will be held from 11 am to 8 pm, will also feature other programmes such as performing arts, crafts, cuisine, sports and health and wellness workshops.

The event is open for all without entry fee.
